How we Started
The Snug as a Bug story started back in 1992. After graduating from George Brown College with a diploma in Creative Fashion Design, Liz Heyland began designing and locally producing a line of children's clothing. What started out as a little business has constantly grown, year after year. Some of you may still remember when we traveled from town to town selling at local fairs and craft shows. Now you can find the Snug as a Bug name in quality shops across Canada. Shopping on our website has become increasingly more popular and has allowed us to offer you an even wider selection of hard-to-find items with helpful and efficient service.

The Snug as a Bug line is designed solely by Liz Heyland and is sewn by highly skilled seamstresses who produce everything locally in our neighbourhood. This has been our methodology right from the beginning, allowing strict quality control as well as supporting our community.
