Craft shows have really come along way in the past few years. Manufacturing in Canada isn't what it once was, resulting in Canadian-made products being in scarce supply and high demand. Many talented Canadian Artisans choose craft shows as a media to sell and distribute their products, as Liz and Snug as a Bug did exclusively for the first 10 years of operation. From humble beginnings craft shows have evolved into a collection of highly skilled and talented Artisans, many with years of schooling and training in their diverse fields. At these shows you will find rows and rows of unique items from clothing to home accessories to tasty treats - with a quality and Northern touch never seen at a mall. And perhaps best of all... if you are at all chatty - the booths are staffed by either the artisan themselves or someone close to the artisan who will be glad to give you insight into uniqueness of their products. Liz still does a few choice craft shows every year to see old friends - artisans and customers alike!

Meet the Designer...
When was the last time you have actually met the designer of something you have bought and enjoyed? At all of the shows that Snug as a Bug participates in you will find either Liz Heyland or Gail Buckborough running the booth. Liz is the original founder of Snug as a Bug and the head designer. Gail is a long time friend and a former artisan herself. Together they form a strong team able to answer your questions.

The Snug as a Bug booth is always a busy one. We bring all of our latest, greatest styles and designs. We feature our popular, age-appropriate clothing in sizes ranging from newborn to 8 years old. Hats and baby gifts are always popular choices; boy or girl, we have something that fits and looks great on your child. We are careful to bring plenty of inventory to ensure proper ranges of sizes and patterns. As always, all of the designs are made from the highest quality fabrics and trims, made right in our Toronto neighbourhood.
